How to Create Ads in the WhatsApp Business App

With the WhatsApp Business app, you can create ads for Facebook and Instagram that direct potential customers to start a chat with your business on WhatsApp. Here’s how you can do it:

Creating Ads Without a Facebook Account (Android Only)

1. Open WhatsApp Business
   • Tap on More options (the three dots) > Advertise > Get started.
2. Select a Photo or Content to Advertise
   • Choose a photo from your gallery, catalog item, or status to promote.
   • Note: Catalog items must be approved by WhatsApp before advertising. Multiple photos, products, and statuses can be advertised at once.
3. Enter a Description
   • Write a short description for your ad > Tap Next.
4. Set Budget, Duration, and Audience
   • Choose a daily budget, ad duration, and target audience > Tap Next.
5. Review Facebook's Non-discrimination Policy
   • Accept the policy > Review your ad > Tap Next.
6. Enter Your Email Address
   • Provide your email > Tap Send code.
   • Enter the six-digit code sent to your email.
7. Finalize the Ad Setup
   • Choose your country/region, currency, and time zone > Tap Next.
   • Add a payment method > Enter your payment information > Tap Save.
   • Add your business information > Tap Save.
8. Submit the Ad for Approval
   • If approved, your ad will appear under the Manage ads tab.

Creating Ads With a Facebook Account

1. Open WhatsApp Business
   • Tap on More options (the three dots) > Advertise on Facebook > Get started.
2. Select a Photo or Content to Advertise
   • Choose a photo from your gallery, catalog item, or status to promote.
   • Note: Grant the Facebook app permission to access your photos if needed. Catalog items must be approved before being advertised.
3. Log in to Facebook
   • Tap Log in and enter your Facebook account credentials.
4. Set Budget, Duration, and Audience
   • Set your daily budget, ad duration, and target audience > Tap Next.
5. Select a Payment Method via Facebook
   • Use your Facebook account to select your preferred payment method.
6. Review and Create Ad
   • Review your ad settings > Tap Create Ad.
7. Manage Ads
   • If your ad is approved, it will appear under the Manage ads section.

These simple steps allow you to create targeted ads on WhatsApp Business, whether you have a Facebook account or not.
