New Element 115 Confirmed

Scientists at Lund University in Sweden have confirmed the existence of a new element, numbered 115 on the periodic table, by colliding atoms of calcium and americium. This element, often referred to as a 'super-heavy element' due to its 115 protons, was also previously synthesized by Russian scientists in 2004. The confirmation was based on the flash of radiation emitted during the collision. However, its addition to the periodic table still requires approval from international scientific committees. While the element lasts only briefly, scientists hope to create more stable, lasting elements in the future. Currently known as 'Ununpentium,' its official name is yet to be determined.
